Career Development Workshop - Practice & Private Equity: Compensation Models, Buy-Ins, Ancillaries, and Exit Terms

This workshop is designed to help fellows, early-career, and mid-career gastroenterologists navigate the financial and contractual complexities of private practice and private equity–affiliated groups. Faculty will break down compensation models, buy-in and buy-out pathways, ancillary revenue opportunities, and key contract terms — clarifying what to evaluate, when to negotiate, and how different structures impact long-term career and financial outcomes.

AGA Career Development Workshops provide trainees and early-career GIs with vital insights, skills, and advice for career advancement through education that complements — but is not formally part of — the trainee program curriculum.
